Environment

Hibiscus adopted the execution of an Environmental Management System, adhering to standards UNI EN ISO 14001:2004.
Hibiscus is engaged in pursuing a policy of continuously improving its own environmental performance, believing that its activities should not only respond to economic criteria but also to the respect of the environment and the proper use of natural resources, as a duty towards the community and the territory in which it operates.

In order to keep under control impact on environment of its activities, products and services, all the staff at the Hibiscus works in respect of the following key principles:

• compliance with all environmental laws and regulations, implementing every effort to prevent pollution of water, air and soil;

• implementing, where possible, a policy of energy conservation consistent with the terms of comfort of the structure;

• promoting the management of wastes oriented to the principles of reduction, recycling, reuse and waste sorting;

• information, training and education, addressed to the staff, to promote responsibility and environmental awareness;

• raising awareness among suppliers of goods and services and customers about the contents of the Environmental Policy to encourage the adoption of a correct environmental behavior;

• using where possible, environmentally-friendly products.
